How we hire, train and supervise

Every officer meets California law. Then we train for the post they will actually work, and we stay in touch every shift.

  • Department of Justice and FBI background check through Live Scan.

State training

What California requires

Every security guard in California completes this training. We track it for every officer.

Power to Arrest training, required before the state issues a guard card.

  2. First six months

32 hours of security officer skills: 16 hours within 30 days and the rest within six months.

  3. Every year

8 hours of continuing training to keep the guard card current.
